[Instrumental] Remember when you were young You shone like the Sun Shine on, you crazy diamond Now there's a look in your eyes Like black holes in the sky Shine on, you crazy diamond You were caught in the crossfire of childhood and stardom Blown on the steel breeze Come on, you target for faraway laughter Come on, you stranger, you legend, you martyr, and shine! [Instrumental] You reached for the secret too soon You cried for the Moon Shine on, you crazy diamond Threatened by shadows at night And exposed in the light Shine on, you crazy diamond Well, you wore out your welcome with random precision Rode on the steel breeze Come on, you raver, you seer of visions Come on, you painter, you piper, you prisoner, and shine! [Instrumental]

I'm on your team But I never know when you're not You never wear shoes without your socks You never tell anything to me I'm on your side But only for a while of course You never use words you can't afford A house of cards and it's a sign So wait up! You never get nervous anymore So wait up! You never get nervous anymore What did you want me to say? Hey! What did you want me to do? What did you want me to say? Inside the lines Gotta catch 'em in a paper cup You never know when to change your luck The sum of everything you like I'm on your side So introduce me to your friends With the music and the lights and everything So wait up! You never get nervous anymore So wait up! You never get nervous anymore What did you want me to say? Hey! What did you want me to do? What did you want me to say? It's only on the weekends Only on the television screens Always with your girlfriends Always with the conversations Making up for lost time Making it with me Wait up! You never get nervous anymore So wait up! You never get nervous anymore What did you want me to say? Hey! What did you want me to do? What did you want me to say?

Baby, you know me well You know, I mean what I say Before I say farewell I'll give you one more day so you can Find out what's happening, Find out what's happening before long If you don't find out what's happening, You're gonna find out that I'm gone (Gone, gone, gone, gone) Tell me what you're gonna do, You better make up your mind It all depends on you or I'm leaving you behind You'd better find out what's happening, Find out what's happening before long If you don't find out what's happening, You're gonna find out that I'm gone (Gone, gone, gone, gone) Baby you know it's true, we've been through thick and thin But if you don't come through, you won't ever see me again You'd better find out what's happening, Find out what's happening before long If you don't find out what's happening, You're gonna find your daddy gone (Gone, gone, gone, gone) Find out what's happening, Find out what's happening, Find out what's happening, Find out what's happening, Find out what's happening, Find out what's happening, Find out what's happening, Find out what's happening, Find out what's happening, Find out what's happening, Find out what's happening

I know you've been hurt By someone else I can tell by the way You carry yourself But if you'll let me Here's what I'll do I'll take care of you I, I loved and lost The same as you So you see I know Just what you've been through And if you'll let me Here's what I'll do I just have got to take care of you You won't ever have to worry You don't ever have to cry I'll be there beside you To dry your weeping eyes So darlin' tell me That you'll be true There's no doubt in my mind I know what I want to do And just as sure One and one is two I just got, I got to take care of you I just got to take care of you Take care of you Oh, yeeah...

Encumbered forever by desire and ambition There's a hunger still unsatisfied Our weary eyes still stray to the horizon Though down this road we've been so many times The grass was greener The light was brighter The taste was sweeter The nights of wonder With friends surrounded The dawn mist glowing The water flowing The endless river For ever and ever

I know I stand in line until you think you have the time to spend an evening with me And if we go someplace to dance, I know that there's a chance you won't be leaving with me Then afterwards we drop into a quiet little place and have a drink or two And then I go and spoil it all by saying somethin' stupid like, "I love you" I can see it in your eyes, that you despise the same old lies you heard the night before And though it's just a line to you, for me it's true, and never seemed so right before I practice every day to find some clever lines to say to make the meaning come true But then I think I'll wait until the evening gets late, and I'm alone with you The time is right, your perfume fills my head, the stars get red, and, oh, the night's so blue And then I go and spoil it all by saying somethin' stupid like, "I love you" The time is right, your perfume fills my head, the stars get red, and, oh, the night's so blue And then I go and spoil it all by saying somethin' stupid like, "I love you" "I love you" "I love you" "I love you" "I love you"

There's a lady who's sure all that glitters is gold And she's buying a stairway to heaven When she gets there she knows, if the stores are all closed With a word she can get what she came for Ooh, ooh, and she's buying a stairway to heaven There's a sign on the wall, but she wants to be sure 'Cause you know sometimes words have two meanings In a tree by the brook, there's a songbird who sings Sometimes all of our thoughts are misgiven Ooh, it makes me wonder Ooh, makes me wonder There's a feeling I get when I look to the west And my spirit is crying for leaving In my thoughts I have seen rings of smoke through the trees And the voices of those who stand looking Ooh, it makes me wonder Ooh, really makes me wonder And it's whispered that soon if we all call the tune Then the piper will lead us to reason And a new day will dawn for those who stand long And the forests will echo with laughter Oh-oh-oh-oh-woahhh...

"-and disciplinary remains mercifully." "Yes and um, I’m with you Derek, this star nonsense" "Yes, yes, now which is it?" "I am sure of it." So, so you think you can tell Heaven from Hell? Blue skies from pain? Can you tell a green field from a cold steel rail? A smile from a veil? Do you think you can tell? Did they get you to trade your heroes for ghosts? Hot ashes for trees? Hot air for a cool breeze? Cold comfort for change? Did you exchange A walk-on part in the war for a lead role in a cage? How I wish, how I wish you were here We're just two lost souls swimming in a fishbowl, year after year Running over the same old ground, what have we found? The same old fears, wish you were here
9.
[Instrumental] Nobody knows where you are How near or how far Shine on, you crazy diamond Pile on many more layers And I'll be joining you there Shine on, you crazy diamond And we'll bask in the shadow of yesterday's triumph And sail on the steel breeze Come on, you boy child, you winner and loser Come on, you miner for truth and delusion, and shine! [Instrumental]

We don't go back this time For a place to call my own For a place that I call home We don't go back this time For a place to call my own For a place that I call home Where the fuck are you at Spence? Pick up the phone You haven't called back since- I'm feeling alone You got a girl now? Forgetting your close friends? Feeling hopeless, just so you know this I'm 'bout to dose benzos through dead cold Bent over the bed, no (ugh), nevermind that, bro Tipsy over the edge, yo, my chest needs a less load Depressed, not knowing what's next, so I keep smoking, I know soon I'll have a heart attack The last cancer stick, that crushed the camel's back And now I'm drinking and drivin', tears fillin' my eyes I should crash under these Vanilla Skies Concealing these feelings but it's killing myself You were always one of the few willing to help But lately you don't respond when I hit up your cell My tank needs a fill-up stranded in the pits of this hell We don't go back this time For a place to call my own For a place that I call home We don't go back this time For a place to call my own For a place that I call home Seven missed calls, please stop hittin' this cell All this dude does is complain, it's giving me hell I know sometimes he's trapped and he's feeling in jail But that don't mean he gotta bring me to that prison as well Oh, another call? Now, I'm truly just pissed Decline, decline, decline, you're stupid as shit We were supposed to be there for the fans, make music I think But when we hang, all you do is just drink You got me chain smoking as I ruin my health Want to give up on music, not even do it myself Sick of leading this life, best friend's seein' a dead end To get a piece of the pie, the key is bein' a legend But all he sees is depression so I'm guessing it's over If you admire Em' so much, then why ain't you gettin' sober? It's time to clean out the closet and act like a soldier Fuck it, whatever, I'm comin' over We don't go back this time For a place to call my own For a place that I call home We don't go back this time For a place to call my own For a place that I call home Spencer! Dammit! (phone dialing) Pick up the phone man! C'mon please, pick up the phone I can't take this shit no more man, please Yo, just answer this one time, bro (answering machine picks up) FUCK! Can't take this shit no more... (Beeeeep!) Really? Another voicemail you sent me to I guess this is my goodbye, I'ma end it too I can't stop thinkin' about the bitter truth I hate this rap shit now, Spence, it's pitiful I quit it through, finished, done, I'm miserable Reached my wits end, fuck the world, diggin' through Cause no one appreciates the time I've thrown in this I'm getting too old for rejection so I blow a kiss Eminem, Slim Shady, Marshall Mathers You bit his style, his life, mimic his mannerisms Listen I don't think you understand your physics Can this get a hold of you and your image I'm so sick and tired of being judged Being such a great rapper is depleting love And I don't have the passion or even feel the rush To write a song for the world so I'm giving up We don't go back this time For a place to call my own For a place that I call home We don't go back this time For a place to call my own For a place that I call home

about

"There's two kinds of people today. There's happy people, and there's people like me. You have no idea, you think my life is great but I cover up the tears."

This album goes out to Sayori, a metaphor of depression, best friendships tainted by the gloomy rainclouds. Absence is something you can't get enough of, and there's always something that disturbs you in the silence, alone with your thoughts. Life takes us all to different places, and nothing stays the same. Nothing lasts forever, even the best friendships.

The DFTLC series is my final take on Doki Doki Literature Club. Getting the ideas, thoughts, emotions, memories, and wonderful friends into one little album will certainly not last forever. With each album, I leave memories behind. When will be the point when there won't be any more memories left? That was what I thought after making we'll all wish to go back in time. I was thinking about quitting, but thankfully it didn't come to that.

Thanks to everyone who allows Sonic4 Test Records to continue, I will keep making albums.

"the worst butcher ever"

This is Sonic4 (aka Eray) and I'm always busy and too tired to release something new.

We make the best of the worst.

It's rare for people release their albums on my Bandcamp, so I suggest you should check out what VaultKid has to offer.
